The Kaloko Trust has no current vacancies in the UK, but if you are interested in teaching in Zambia for a term or more read on...
The Kaloko Trust works to advance education in rural communities through supporting community schools. For many children in Zambia, school is either too far away or too expensive to attend. Thanks to Kaloko's support of local schools over 1,000 children now have access to education, 250 are involved in a sponsorship scheme and many students reaching secondary school receive financial support to help them stay in school.
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers who have some experience of working with children. Kaloko Trust Zambia needs people to teach English, run drama/dance workshops, and raise awareness of HIV/AIDS, conservation issues and techniques. This input and your experience will be invaluable in future planning and projects. Meetings will be held to discuss your experience, needs and suggestions. Applicants must provide a CV and a covering letter stating why they would like to volunteer, and experience of the above criteria. Interviews are held in our Brighton office.
